Annie
With nearly 40 years in hairdressing, I’ve built my career on a passion for the beauty industry.
Starting as an apprentice in Whyalla, I developed my craft alongside talented stylists and later expanded my skills with qualifications in Cosmetology and Nail Technology.
Over the years, I’ve taught at TAFE, worked in local salons, salons in Perth, WA, and owned salons across SA for 22 years.
Today, I’m proud to continue my journey at Annie’s Place, growing and developing a beautiful salon.
Sofie
Hi, my name is Sofie, I am 17yrs old and currently a 1st year apprentice at Annie's Place for Hair & Beauty.
I wanted to become a hairdresser because I am passionate about creativity, personal style, and helping people feel confident in themselves.
Hairdressing combines art & skill, and I'm excited to learn the techniques, from cutting and colouring to styling and client care.
Jo
I’m Jo, a Whyalla local with over 30 years of experience as a professional hairdresser, specialising in precision cutting and colour.
Throughout my career, I’ve valued building genuine connections with my clients while providing a calm, welcoming space where everyone feels comfortable, valued , and cared for in my chair.
I previously owned and operated my own home salon while raising my family with my husband, which has shaped my skills and attentive approach to hairdressing. After recently taking time away from the industry to explore other opportunities and rehabilitate after a setback, I’m pleased to be returning.
I’m excited to be joining Annie and Sofie at Annie’s Place and look forward to welcoming both new and returning clients.
